Job DescriptionENSCO is seeking a specialist in Rail Vehicle
Maintenance matters to serve as Rail Vehicle Maintenance Advisor at
the Transportation Technology Center (TTC). This position will
report to the Program Manager, and will be responsible for
providing industry, site knowledge, & training pertaining to
inspection, evaluation, & reporting on performing rail vehicle
maintenance.The successful candidate will perform a wide variety of
functions including, but not limited to:Providing historic
information, knowledge, & background of the Rail Vehicle
Maintenance equipment of the TTC.Providing training for employees
of ENSCO on specific topics such as:-Hegenscheidt wheel lathe
operation-AAR rail vehicle maintenance-Locomotive
MaintenanceQualifications Required (Skills)
- Bachelors or equivalent, minimum of 10 years of professional
work experience in managing Rail Vehicle Maintenance
activities
- Experience working at the TTC
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- Ability to be flexible in a fast pasted environment.
- Ability to build professional & courteous relationships with
colleagues, supervisors, & direct reports
- Ability to work independently & as part of a diverse,
interdisciplinary team
- Ability to safely climb a 15-foot-high ladderRailroad
regulations require that the selected candidate must pass an
e-RAILSAFE security background check and online safety tests to
work on railroad properties. Wearing safety equipment (hardhat,
steel-toe boots, protective vest, and protective eyeglasses) when
working on railroad properties is also a requirement. ENSCO will
provide all necessary safety equipment.Qualifications Desired
