Express Employment is looking for a great associate for a local brick yard.Key Responsibilities- Maintain Proper Brick Quality, packaging, strapping, identification, cleanliness and safety. Sorts and blends packages by determining brick quality by inspecting each unit for color, soundness, texture, size variation, straight cut edges, and the presence or absence of cracks, chips and other unwanted characteristicsSkills Required- MUST be able to develop and apply a working knowledge of all the brick quality standards and the detailed procedure for assembling packages in the proper configuration. MUST have a detailed knowledge of plant safety rules and guidelines and demonstrate safetyExpected Results- Handle Bricks so that product damage is avoided. Brick must be arranged in packages exactly as specified in the detailed procedures for sorting, either in monorail jigs or box jigs.Physical Requirements-Walking, Standing, Climbing, Turning the head and torso, reaching, grasping, squatting, lifting, pivoting, pushing and pulling, bending and flexing the arms, legs, wrists, hands & fingers, and the ability to regularly lift 50 pounds (Occasionally)Schedule: Mon- Fri 7am-4pm or 4pm-2am (Must be able to work both shifts)$14/hr
