With over 400 employees in Southern Colorado, you would be joining a mighty team of support and administrative staff, case managers, clinicians, physicians, nurses, and others in our efforts to improve the health and wellbeing of our community.Were Expanding and looking for a PRN Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in our Medical Assisted Recovery Center (MARC), Montebello Rd, in Pueblo.What Youd Be DoingWe are seeking a dedicated and reliable PRN Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team as a Dispensing Nurse. This role involves assisting in the dispensing of medications and providing care to patients in a clinical setting. The ideal candidate will have experience working with medication administration and strong communication skills.As a PRN Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you would become a central member of our MARC teams efforts to improve the medical and behavioral health of clients. You would act as a point person for building professional relationships with medical partners and community agencies, synthesizing data to address client needs, and conducting outreach activities designed to meet the health needs of our community.Specifically, the Dispensing LPNAdminister and dispense Methadone to patientsMaintain accurate and up-to-date medication recordsMonitor and document patient progress and any adverse reactionsCommunicate effectively with healthcare providers and patientsFollow clinic protocols and comply with all safety and confidentiality regulationsCollaborates with clients to identify and resolve issues related to the health care system, including social and financial barriers.Coordinates care with internal and external care providers to maximize the quality-of-care clients receive.Works effectively independently and as a team member.Builds rapport and professional relationships with medical partners in the community.Utilizes medical and behavioral health professional skills.Tracks and documents the progress of our clients and makes course corrections when appropriate.Collaborates with community agencies in service to our clients and to our community.Provides education and interactive guidance to patient's questions and medication concerns.Collects and analyzes data to assure that our patients receive efficient and effective care to meet their needs.Makes important contributions when meeting with staff from multiple disciplines.Interacts professionally and ethically.Maintains records in accordance with Health Solutions standards; andPerforms other duties as assigned.Physical requirements include the followingRequires standing, sitting, driving, and walking for prolonged periods of timeOccasionally lifts and carries items up to 20 poundsRequires working under stress in emergency situationsRequires normal range of hearing and eyesight to record data electronically and communicate with clientsRequires occasional driving in adverse weather conditionsRequires frequent use of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard and mouseRequires frequent use computer operation including keyboard and mouseWhat Youll Like About UsCompetitive pay. $17.45 - $19.24 hourly (contingent on degree and experience) for this positionEmployee recognition and celebrationsWarm and friendly work environment in which staff respect and learn from one anotherMeaningful work with opportunities to serve our neighbors in Pueblo.What Were Looking ForThe Must-HavesCurrent license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Colorado or a state participating in the Enhance Nurse Licensure CompactMinimum of two years experience working with diverse populationMinimum of two years experience in an addiction recovery settingExperience in providing nursing care in medical and behavioral healthcare settingsExperience collaborating across disciplines and agenciesColorado drivers license and access to reliable transportation during working hours.Exceptional documentation and computer skillsWhat Wed Like to See in YouThe Nice-to-HavesTrack record of working successfully as a part of a multidisciplinary teamSpanish language skillsHealth Solutions expects all staff toAdapt to change in the workplace and use change as an opportunity for innovation and creativity.Take ownership of problems, brainstorm resolutions, use sound judgment in selecting solutions to problems, and then demonstrate consistent follow through.Possess the job knowledge and skills to perform the fundamental job functions, and willingly assume greater responsibility over time regarding the scope of work.Inspire and model collaborative teamwork; andDemonstrate accommodation, politeness, helpfulness, trust building, appropriate boundaries, and flexibility in customer service.Close Date: 10/15/2024
