Control Systems Engineer
Per diem is applicable for non-local candidates
Principle responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Review Piping & Instrument Diagrams and Logic Diagrams for control
and instrumentation software requirements prepare configuration
documents to implement the software requirements, and conduct test
plans to validate implemented software
Contributes to maintaining the projects instrument database using
automated tools and has knowledge of the applicability of
information to be populated in the instrument database
Achieves work process improvement and promotes continuous work
Champions non-proprietary electronic data interchange and integrate
automation technology where ever practical
Demonstrate leadership qualities with emphasis on continuous
improvement and team building, and interpersonal communication
BS degree in one of the following: Mechanical, Electrical,
Chemical, Computer or Electro-Mech engineering from an accredited
institution with at least 1 year of relevant experience; or MS
degree in one of the following: Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical,
Computer or Electro-Mech engineering from an accredited
In lieu of a degree, the suitable candidate must possess at least 7
years engineering experience.
Must be able to obtain an EIT or FE Certification within 12 months
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain unescorted access to
Must be an U.S. Citizen or lawful permanent resident.
Must be able to obtain a DODI 8570.01-M IAT I, II, or III
certification within 6 months of employment.
Must be physically fit and able to work safely at a construction
Programmable Logic Controller (Siemens PLC) configurations
experience along with experience integrating Siemens PLCs to
Programming experience in Siemens system, OPC programming.
