Job Description:

Control Systems Engineer
Location:Pueblo, CO
Pay Rate:$55-65/hour
Per diem is applicable for non-local candidates

Principle responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Review Piping & Instrument Diagrams and Logic Diagrams for control and instrumentation software requirements prepare configuration documents to implement the software requirements, and conduct test plans to validate implemented software
Contributes to maintaining the projects instrument database using automated tools and has knowledge of the applicability of information to be populated in the instrument database
Achieves work process improvement and promotes continuous work process improvement
Champions non-proprietary electronic data interchange and integrate automation technology where ever practical
Demonstrate leadership qualities with emphasis on continuous improvement and team building, and interpersonal communication skills

Basic Qualifications:
BS degree in one of the following: Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Computer or Electro-Mech engineering from an accredited institution with at least 1 year of relevant experience; or MS degree in one of the following: Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Computer or Electro-Mech engineering from an accredited institution.
In lieu of a degree, the suitable candidate must possess at least 7 years engineering experience.
Must be able to obtain an EIT or FE Certification within 12 months of hire.
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain unescorted access to the Depot.
Must be an U.S. Citizen or lawful permanent resident.
Must be able to obtain a DODI 8570.01-M IAT I, II, or III certification within 6 months of employment.

Minimum Qualifications:
Must be physically fit and able to work safely at a construction site.
Programmable Logic Controller (Siemens PLC) configurations experience along with experience integrating Siemens PLCs to WinCC.

Preferred Qualifications:
Programming experience in Siemens system, OPC programming.
