Full Time, Monday - Thursday, 40 hours/week.Pay Range is between $31.20-$46.80/hr, depending on years of relevant and like experience.$10,000 Sign-On Bonus Available! *not available for current BCH staff or rehires.Boulder Community Health is a Certified Level II Trauma Center. Come be part of an independent, community-focused health system; feel good knowing that your work will make a difference in people's lives and positively contribute to the community.POSITION SUMMARYPerforms all technical aspects of MRI procedures, consistently producing highest quality exams possible.JOB QUALIFICATIONSEducation or Formal TrainingRegistered Technologist (ARRT) for Radiology TechnologyCompletion of MRI training (structured or on the job)Special Qualifications (licensure, registration, etc.)BLS by end of conditional period.Active Registered Technologist (AART) for MRI, or MRI registered within:two years from hire/transfer date for trainee, or18 months from hire/transfer date for registry eligible staffKnowledge, Skill and AbilityComputer knowledgeCross sectional anatomyVenipunctureGood patient care skillsAbility to handle stressWORKING ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL ACTIVITIESStressful, lifting, background noise, coldDim lightingWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to constantly stand and walk. The employee frequently is required to stoop, crouch and twist. The employee is occasionally required to kneel, squat and sit.The employee must be able to consistently support, push, pull and/or lift up to 10 pounds, frequently support, push, pull and/or lift up to 30 pounds and occasionally support, push, pull and/or transfer up to 50 pounds (for example, moving a patient from a wheelchair to a bed).Functional physical demands include manual dexterity, fine motor skills and reaching.
