Aggregate- Heavy Equipment OperatorLocation: Lamar, COSalary Interval: HourlyApplication InstructionsApp instructions and descriptions.Position DescriptionBrannan CompaniesPosition: Equipment Operator - Aggregate PlantReports To: Plant ManagerFLSA Status: Full Time/ Non-ExemptLocation: Lamar, COWage: $14-$16/hrPosition Summary:As an Equipment Operator your general responsibilities will be working with the plant crew loading and feeding a crusher plant and loading trucks. There will be occasional work with Dozers and a Track Hoe. We mine aggregate, crush and classify into aggregatesFunctional Responsibilities:Primary responsibility involves the safe and skilled operation of the loader and other heavy equipment.Strong understanding and daily compliance with Brannan safety standards and policies as they relate to an Equipment Operator.Daily compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations and policiesThe operator is responsible for the efficient working condition of the equipment and is expected to perform thorough pre-trip + post-trip inspections daily.Assists in maintenance and repairs of the plant, conduct daily safety walk around making sure the plant is in safe working conditionEnsure the plant is running at its maximum efficiency and if it is not, communicate this to the plant managerMulti-task in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and professionalismAbility to detect safety hazards and equipment malfunctions and respond accordingly.Ability to follow directions.Performs other related duties as assigned.Must have a safety first attitude.
