Job Description TinkBird Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Physician with a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Littleton, North Carolina. This opportunity offers an outpatient-only practice serving an underserved patient population within a mission-driven healthcare organization. Providers will have the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment with strong clinical support while delivering comprehensive primary care across the lifespan. Quick Overview Location: Littleton, North Carolina Setting: Outpatient Primary Care (FQHC) Schedule: Monday – Friday (open to 3–4 consecutive days) Patient Volume: 16–18 patients per day Call: Very light after-hours telephonic call Start Date: As soon as possible EMR: eClinicalWorks Position Details Job Type: Permanent Role: Physician Specialty: Family Medicine / Internal Medicine Clinical Practice Outpatient-only primary care practice Provide comprehensive care across the entire lifespan Preventive care and chronic disease management Patient Population Underserved rural community Federally Qualified Health Center setting Practice Environment Mission-driven community health organization serving patients across multiple locations in northeastern North Carolina. Organization Overview Multiple medical clinic locations Dental services and in-house pharmacy support available Support Staff Full clinical and administrative support staff available Team-based care environment On-site Specialists: None Call Responsibilities Very light after-hours telephonic call Calls are first triaged by experienced RN staff Provider contacted only for urgent situations or documentation clarification Weekend or Holiday Call: None Clinics are closed on major holidays. Schedule & Coverage Expected Schedule Monday through Friday coverage Five days per week preferred Open to 3–4 consecutive day schedules Lunch Break: 1 hour Candidate Requirements MD or DO Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Med-Peds Minimum 2 years of experience preferred Willingness to see 16–18 patients per day Meet quality metrics for preventive and chronic disease management Credentialing Fast credentialing turnaround Credentialing with major payors supported Prior Medicare/Medicaid enrollment not required but preferred Compensation & Benefits Competitive compensation package Generous sign-on bonus and retention incentives available Relocation assistance available Annual CME allowance of up to $3,000 with up to 40 hours CME time Malpractice insurance covered through Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA) Paid Time Off (PTO) Closed on major holidays 403(b) retirement plan Employer contribution begins after two years Professional fees and dues reimbursed Loan Repayment Opportunities As a Federally Qualified Health Center with a high Primary Care HPSA score, providers may qualify for: National Health Service Corps (NHSC) Loan Repayment Program NHSC Scholars Program Students to Service (S2S) Program State-sponsored high-needs service bonus programs may also be available for physicians without outstanding student loans.
