Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational
Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of
Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not
meet these qualifications will not be considered. This full-time
occupational therapy position is available for the 2026-2027 school
year in the Denver area, specifically serving the Aurora Public
Schools district. Assignments will vary among schools, with
caseloads focusing on school-age students. The role requires an
active Colorado Department of Education certification and a valid
Colorado Occupational Therapist license. Key Responsibilities:
Provide occupational therapy services to support student
development and academic success. Collaborate with educators,
families, and multidisciplinary teams to create and implement
individualized education plans (IEPs). Assess student needs and
monitor progress regularly, adapting interventions as necessary.
Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with district and
state guidelines. Participate in meetings, professional
development, and ongoing communication with stakeholders.
Qualifications: Current Colorado DOE certification. Active Colorado
Occupational Therapist license. Experience providing occupational
therapy services in school settings preferred; however, all levels
of experience will be considered. Strong communication and
collaboration skills. Ability to manage varied caseloads and adapt
to changing assignments. Location and Schedule: Based in the
Arvada, CO area, serving multiple schools within the Denver region.
Full-time contract position, Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per
week. Contract duration: August 6, 2026 to May 26, 2027. Benefits
