In this role, you will provide top-tier dialysis care for acute patients across a variety of settings within the hospital. This dynamic position demands a compassionate and technically adept nurse who can deliver specialized care to patients suffering from acute and chronic renal failure. Assessing patient conditions and planning and implementing patient care plans Providing safe, effective dialysis therapy as prescribed by the physician Monitoring and adjusting patient fluid removal rates as required Working collaboratively with the healthcare team to promote patient well-being Educating patients and their families on disease management and dialysis treatment Ensuring that dialysis machines and equipment are properly set up and maintained Implementing infection control measures Documenting all nursing and treatment interventions and patient responses in the patient care record Proficiency in operating dialysis machines Strong observational and analytical skills Excellent patient and family communication abilities Ability to work effectively in stressful situations In-depth knowledge of dialysis treatment and procedures Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current RN license in the state of Colorado BLS/CPR certification CNN or CDN certification desirable
