Encompass Health Corporation, a leader in patient rehabilitation and home-based care services, is seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Director to oversee our comprehensive pharmacy services across both inpatient and outpatient settings. The successful candidate will be integral in setting strategic direction, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and leading innovative pharmacy practices that support superior patient outcomes. This role is pivotal in the integration of our pharmacy services with larger healthcare objectives, fostering a seamless environment that enables holistic care. Develop and implement strategic plans for pharmacy services in alignment with organizational goals. Oversee the procurement, storage, and dispensation of all pharmaceuticals and related supplies. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulatory laws pertaining to the dispensing of drugs and narcotics. Direct the training and development of pharmacy staff to effectively deliver highest quality patient care. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure drug therapy management protocols are integrated with patient care plans. Monitor and analyze trends in the healthcare industry to recommend service enhancements. Manage pharmacy budget, forecast needs, and allocate resources accordingly. Strong leadership and organizational skills Excellent knowledge of pharmaceutical legislation and standard industry practices Proficient in pharmacological therapy and drug interaction Ability to manage budgets and forecast resource needs Capable of working collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Current and unrestricted state licensure as a Pharmacist. Board certification in Pharmacotherapy (BCPS) or relevant specialty preferable.
