Estimated Weekly Pay: $2020 - $2070 (based on experience and qualifications) Med/Surg Tele RN Job Details - Location: Pueblo, Colorado (81003) – Colorado healthcare job - Unit: Med/Surg Tele – Stroke Unit - Contract Length: 13 weeks (Start: 11/17/2025 – End: 2/16/2026) - Shift: 3x12-hour night shifts (18:45 – 07:15), flexible scheduling - Hours per Week: 36 - Unit Beds: 30-bed medical-surgical telemetry unit - Charting System: Epic EMR - Scrub Color: Navy - Weekend Requirement: 7 weekend shifts per contract Registered Nurse Qualifications - Active Colorado or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license required - Minimum 2 years of recent acute care RN experience in med/surg or telemetry - Current AHA BLS and CPR certifications - Travel nursing experience preferred - Proficiency with Epic charting system - Ability to manage nurse-to-patient ratios up to 1:6 during night shifts - Strong skills in dysrhythmia interpretation, rapid response/code team participation, peripheral line care, oxygen administration, non-invasive airway management, and infection control - Willingness to float within scope and to sister healthcare facilities as needed Med/Surg Tele RN Responsibilities - Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients on a busy Med/Surg Tele Stroke unit - Monitor and manage patients with stroke, COVID-19, and general med-surg diagnoses - Interpret and manage cardiac dysrhythmias, respond to rapid response/code situations, and perform peripheral line care - Administer oxygen therapy and manage non-invasive airway needs - Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Epic EMR - Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including physical therapy, respiratory therapy, and pharmacy - Float to similar units or sister healthcare facilities as required - Adhere to all infection control, isolation, and patient safety protocols Apply now to join our dedicated healthcare team in Pueblo, Colorado, and take the next step in your travel nursing career!
