Job Description:
Locum - Physician - Infectious Disease Join a reputable facility
in Pueblo, Colorado, known for its commitment to quality
healthcare. This opportunity is for an Infectious Disease Physician
seeking bench support, with a focus on inpatient care. The facility
offers a comprehensive structure, including a total of 300 beds and
an onsite lab, ensuring all necessary resources are readily
available. The practice boasts a supportive environment with a
single physician dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care.
Job Responsibilities: Provide inpatient care for adult patients
with infectious diseases. Consult on an average of 20 patients per
day. Engage in a Monday to Sunday schedule from 8 am to 5 pm.
Participate in after-hours call, which may require being on call
for up to 24 hours. Utilize EPIC documentation system for patient
records. Perform microscopic specimen evaluations and manage
vascular access devices. Conduct diagnostic and therapeutic
procedures including lumbar punctures and thoracentesis.
Qualifications: Board Certified in Infectious Disease - REQUIRED
Active Colorado Medical License or Active IMLC Letter of
Qualification - REQUIRED Current BLS and ACLS certifications -
REQUIRED License and Certification Requirements: Board
certification in Infectious Disease is mandatory. An active
Colorado Medical License or the Active IMLC LOQ is needed. Must
possess BLS and ACLS certifications. Pueblo, Colorado, is a vibrant
