Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Physical Therapist Discipline: Therapy Start Date: 11/17/2025 Duration: 26 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel \n Job Description\n American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of experience for a 26-week outpatient contract with day shifts and floating requirements. \n \n Responsibilities\n Outpatient therapy setting with occasional floating to other sites within a 60-mile radius Day shifts from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. or similar hours, Monday through Friday No weekends or on-call required Care for a variety of musculoskeletal, neurological, and neuromuscular diagnoses Uses Epic for electronic medical record documentation Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans for a broad range of patient diagnoses Work collaboratively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to establish and achieve therapy goals Supervise and mentor therapy students and assist with new staff onboarding as needed Document care activities accurately and timely to meet billing and regulatory requirements Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability with changing patient populations, caseloads, and work locations Professional dress code; scrubs or business casual attire as determined by department Position does not accept local travelers within a 60-mile radius \n \n Requirements\n Active Physical Therapist license in the state of Colorado or a participating state in the PT Compact (license required if applicable) BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required Minimum of 1 year of experience in physical therapy required Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy required; Master's or Doctorate preferred Prior experience with EMR systems preferred Willingness and ability to float to other CommonSpirit locations within a 60-mile radius Flu vaccine required during flu season; medical exemptions allowed with documentation \n Benefits\n High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts \n American Traveler Job ID P-626030.
