experience - Comfort with flexible staffing ratios - Ability to
float between med-surg units Description: This position requires an
experienced registered nurse in general medical-surgical care and
telemetry. Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of acute
care experience. Responsibilities include care for patients with
various diagnoses, including neurosurgical and orthopedic
conditions. The nurse will work night shifts, scheduled for three
12-hour shifts per week. Weekend shifts are also required,
depending on unit needs. The nursing environment includes
interdisciplinary support from various services. Additional
responsibilities include maintaining patient safety and adhering to
protocols. Candidates must possess skills in managing IVs, central
lines, and telemetry monitoring. The role requires floating to
other medical-surgical units as needed by the facility.
Pre-approved time-off is limited to ten days, with blackout periods
for peak staffing times. All candidates must comply with additional
outlined requirements related to past employment and
scheduling.
