will assume responsibility and accountability for:Facilitating,
communicating, and collaborating with both the healthcare team, and
the patient/family to identify and meet the physical, emotional,
and spiritual needs of the patient.Promote the optimal health,
well-being and safety of the patient through use of the nursing
process and in accordance with patient care standards, guidelines
and the State Nurse Practice Act.Demonstrate personal
accountability for relationship-based care, organizational mission,
and core values.Qualifications:In addition to bringing

candidates will need the following:Education RequirementsAssociates
Degree in Nursing required; Nursing Diploma or by
endorsementBachelors Degree in Nursing preferredGraduate of an
accredited School of Nursing required for new graduates, preferred
for experienced RNsExperience RequirementsOne year experience
preferredNursing skills and knowledge base specific to
specialtyLicenses/Certification RequirementsRN License required;
Current state nursing licenses or valid RN license from a
participating state in the National Licensure CompactPhysical
RequirementsMedium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally,
and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs

at St. Mary-Corwin Hospital is a 12-bed unit comprised of oncology
and surgical patients. Nurses care for many types of cancer
patients and post-surgical patients. Nurses hang chemotherapy bags
and empathize with the families of these patients. Our mission is
to treat our patients with the utmost compassion, respect and
integrity through all we do. Our team works very well together, and
we are always willing to train new nurses to be the best they can
be. We have several educational opportunities for this department.
