Job Description:

Participate in patient safety and quality programming, analyzing and improving clinical performance and outcomes at UCHealth Parkview Medical Center.





Location: UCHealth Parkview Medical Center, US:CO:Pueblo



Department: Medical Staff Services



FTE: Full Time, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)



Shift: Days



Pay: $54.28 / hour, dependent on relevant experience




Participate in activities related to patient safety and quality programming. Measures, analyzes, and facilitates improvement in clinical performance and outcomes. Investigates occurrence reports and analyzes safety and quality trends.

• Understand key clinical quality and patient safety measures. Promote the use of appropriate measures for clinical and operational services.
  
• Facilitate components of patient safety programs, incorporating industry best practices, and ensuring regulatory requirements are met.
  
• Help identify priorities for implementation of performance improvement plans related to quality metrics and patient safety opportunities.
  
• Provide support to clinical and operational teams.
  
• Use critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
  
  
  Requirements:
  
  • 
    
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant clinical field.
    
  • State licensure as a Registered Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist, Speech Language Pathologist, Respiratory Therapist, Pharmacist, Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
    
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant clinical experience. Preferred: Quality improvement or patient safety experience.
