Job Purpose:
Whether you are a recent graduate or a vetran Nurse practioner, the duties of the job include assuring that our hospital based patients are receiving the best possible care by the NP collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; providing physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families; supervising assigned team members.

Duties:
* Identifies patient care requirements by establishing personal rapport patients and other persons in a position to understand care requirements.

* Establishes a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, friends, and families.

* Promotes patient's independence by establishing patient care goals; teaching patient, friends, and family to understand condition, medications, and self-care skills; answering questions.

* Resolves patient problems and needs by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategies.



Skills/Qualifications: Our practice is willing to work with a recent graduate or a long time devoted nurse pratitioner.
Must have: Clinical Skills, great bedside manner, compassion, willingness to learn and work as a team.
Must like: Fast passed hospital environment, working with devoted staff members, and working with a practice that is growing include other areas of inpatient care not just short term acute care.
