Pueblo Community Health Center (PCH) -- Administration Pueblo , CO Administrative Full Time , M-F 8:30-5:00 Posted 07/07/2021 Job Summary: This position supports all PCHC programs and services by directing and coordinating grants management, including but not limited to grant application, compliance, tracking and reporting. The Grant Operations Director is responsible for the Quality and Risk Management Program in the health center and works closely with the COO to implement initiatives. This position also coordinates compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, OIG and other federal requirements, coordinating with the Privacy and Compliance Officers to ensure compliance and staff proficiency.-- --Reports to: Supervision Exercised: Education/Experience/License/Certification:-- --- A Bachelor's degree in business, communications or a related field from an accredited college or university with a minimum of three years related experience is required. Experience in nonprofit or human services organizations preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted. --- Significant experience with government grant activities and reporting. Familiarity with HRSA related grant submission and compliance preferred.-- --- Experience with, and insight into, medical practice credentialing/privileging processes and risk management practices is desired.-- --- Valid driver's license and auto insurance as required by law Required Travel: --- Occasional travel is required including day-to-day local travel-- Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: --- The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. --- Excellent written and oral communication skills are required. --- Advanced computer skills required with HRSA Electronic Handbook software experience preferred. --- Knowledge of HRSA Compliance Manual preferred. --- Knowledge of grant proposal preparation and reporting for government and private funders is preferred. --- Facilitation and leadership diverse stakeholder groups to understand and successfully implement complex grant related activities and work processes.-- --- Lead efforts to monitor, comply with, and report on grant related activities. --- Ability to understand verbal information/instruction, exchange verbal information with others and present information/instruction verbally required. --- Ability to read and understand written materials and compose information/instruction in written form required. (PCHC) and PCHC Foundation. --- Adhere to the guidelines, policies and procedures of PCHC -- --- Oversee completion and submission of health center grants, including but not limited to federal 330 submissions for Service Area Competition, Budget Period Renewal, and Expansion Grants. --- Assist in Federal and HRSA related updates; including but not limited to HPSA, FTCA, and Needs Assessment. --- Access, navigate, edit and submit content via the Electronic Handbook (EHB) system as required/appropriate. --- Involvement in organizational activities including strategic planning, market surveys and project management/analysis. --- Ensure continuous compliance with grant requirements and Operational Site Visit readiness. --- Responsibility for Compliance Program, including updating board-approved Quality and Risk Management Program and associated procedures, guidelines and education. --- Oversee completion and submission of FTCA (Federal Tort Claims Act) Deeming applications and associated compliance activities. --- Maintain current knowledge of and assure compliance requirements of funding sources are met and communicated to other staff as appropriate. --- Draft quarterly Quality and Risk Management Report for the health center board. --- Ensure staff are educated and prepared in all aspects of risk management, emergency preparedness, HIPAA, 340B and grant compliance. --- Support initiatives for growth and change in the clinical areas of service, employing evidence-based models wherever practical. --- Participate in special projects/work groups as assigned. --- Perform other related duties as assigned.
