Description Cimarron is seeking a junior-level Configuration Manager to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract at Schriever Space Force Base in the Colorado Springs, CO area. Key Duties: Conduct comprehensive audits of artifacts and asset inventories to create and maintain accurate, as-built models and drawings for the assigned area. Use Visio and other modeling tools to create and maintain as-built configuration drawings or models. Review and research Change Requests and other work vehicles to complete tasks using Remedy ticketing system. Consult with engineers to understand configuration changes to update all related drawings and artifacts. Update and maintain the Configuration Management System (CMDB). Requirements Required Skills, Experience, and Education : Due to facility security requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for consideration at this time. Active Secret Clearance (or higher). This position requires access to federal facilities. Candidates must possess a valid, unexpired Real ID-compliant driver's license or state-issued identification card at the time of hire. Ability to complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening, which will include but is not limited to testing for marijuana use. 2 or more years of directly related experience. Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. Proven ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Self-directed with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent time management and prioritization skills to meet deadlines consistently. Demonstrated ability to identify process improvement opportunities and provide actionable recommendations. Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with customers and internal stakeholders. Strong interpersonal skills with a professional and approachable demeanor. High attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy. Ability to shift fluidly between strategic, big-picture thinking and detailed execution as the situation demands. Desired Skills, Experience, and Education : Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility. Proficiency in Microsoft Visio. Experience using the Remedy ticketing system. Working knowledge of IT areas. Experience with Configuration Management. ITIL Certification.
