Senior Industrial Security Specialist Company: The Boeing
Company Boeing is looking for an experienced Senior Industrial
Security Specialist to join its security team in Colorado Springs,
CO . As a Senior -Level Industrial Security Specialist, you will
work with both senior and junior staff members to administer and
implement US Industrial Security Standards as outlined in the
National Industrial Security Program Manual (NISPOM), the DoD
Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Administrative Security
Manual, Special Access Program (SAP) Security rules and/or other
authoritative sources of security regulations. As an individual
contributor, you will ensure programmatic security posture is
compliant with all applicable regulations by performing the Actions
of Personnel Security, Physical Security and Program Supply Chain
Acquisition Security. Position Responsibilities: Executes Internal
Security Controls through performance of compliance assessment
reviews and self-inspections to ensure compliance with government
and company regulations/requirements Identifies deficiencies,
develops and implements corrective action Communicates results to
security management and customers Conducts Administrative Inquiries
on personnel, processes and situations in accordance with
established operating procedures to determine level and scope of
non-compliance with government and company regulations/requirements
Communicates results to security management and customers Conducts
Communication Security (COMSEC) duties and responsibilities
(including inventory, distribution and destruction), in compliance
with government regulations/requirements Protects government,
intellectual, third party and company information from unauthorized
disclosures Develops, implements and administers an Operational
Security program, security education, procedures and physical
controls to ensure compliance with government and company
regulations/requirements on large and/or complex programs Leads and
performs Personnel Security team and/or processes to assist in
obtaining individual security clearances/accesses for complex
customer requirements Establishes and implements a security
awareness training and education program to educate, refresh, and
motivate personnel to protect people, property and information
Performs Physical Security duties and responsibilities within
Boeing facilities to ensure compliance with company and government
regulations/requirements Performs Sub-Contractor Management to
ensure compliance with government regulations/requirements
Communicates results to security management and customers
Participates, as requested, on enterprise Integrated Product Team
(IPT) Demonstrate proficiency with/utilize specific databases to
determine personnel eligibility to access classified information
Conducts initial and recurring security briefings to cleared
workforce members on topics such as critical program information,
marking, safeguarding and destroying classified information,
operations security, physical and communication security, and other
security training as required Manages personnel records, classified
material records and/or other sensitive records in to ensure the
highest levels of data integrity and correctness Conduct
inventories and records reconciliation actions to ensure accuracy
and accountability Prepares activity or program concept of
operation (CONOPs) outlining unique security protection
requirements for sensitive operations; establish procedures for
protecting, handling, storing, and transporting proprietary
materials Coordinates across the security workforce, Boeing
engineering, managerial and technical teams, as well as senior
Boeing personnel and U. S. Government customers to seek contract
execution approvals, security rulings or deviations as may be
required Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Successfully completed a Tier 5 Investigation (T5), formerly known
as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) by the federal
government within the last 5 years or have been enrolled in a
Continuous Evaluation program within the last 5 years Ability to
obtain a U.S. Government polygraph Ability to obtain access to
Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and/or Special Access
Programs (SAP) 5 years of experience in Industrial Security
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): CDSE,
NSTI/SASSI or other Professional Certification in SAP Security, SCI
Administration, ICD-705, JSIG/RMF, COMSEC, or related security
certifications Experience with A/CPSO, A/CSSO, FSO Experience as a
Industrial Security Analyst Experience working in an
SCI/SAP/Aerospace security/intelligence community environment
Experience with NISPOM and DoD SAP Manuals Experience multi-tasking
with minimal supervision Experience working in a fast-paced
environment Ability to perform occasional second-shift or
after-hours work schedules to accommodate program operations Drug
