Job Description Job Description Location: Pueblo, CO Pay: $20/hr Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 2-3-2 rotating schedule Shift Options: 7:00 AM–7:30 PM or 7:00 PM–7:30 AM Job Description We are seeking skilled Industrial Painters & Sandblasters to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating abrasive blasting equipment to clean, prepare, and finish surfaces of parts and products. This role ensures surfaces are properly prepared for painting, coating, or other manufacturing processes while maintaining strict safety and quality standards. Responsibilities Operate blasting equipment to remove rust, paint, scale, and contaminants from surfaces. Prepare surfaces for painting or coating by achieving required finish and cleanliness. Set up and adjust blasting machines (pressure, nozzle size, abrasive flow). Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of blasting equipment. Inspect blasted surfaces for quality and report defects. Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE (respirators, face shields, gloves, protective suits). Maintain proper ventilation and dust collection systems. Keep work area clean and organized. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth workflow. Essential Skills Minimum 6 months of experience in painting or sandblasting Knowledge of blasting techniques and equipment operation. Ability to read technical specifications and work instructions. Strong attention to detail and quality standards. Organizational and time management skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. Commitment to safety and compliance with regulations. Additional Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Experience in industrial painting, sanding, and paint prep. Familiarity with spray guns, paint booths, sandblasting, powder coating, and paint spraying. Why Join Us? PPE provided for your safety. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pueblo, CO. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
