makes us so special! The Opportunity This executive leader has
accountability and ownership of the end-to-end business development
cycle for new ventures within Property and Casualty (P&C),
managing through matrixed leadership with dedicated support for the
business model. Oversees execution of new P&C ventures across
product lines as an incubator, developing new opportunities and
scaling to viable, complete business models. Accountable for
integration of new P&C ventures, including the operational
integration roadmaps across cross-functional disciplines. Leader
has responsibility for matrixed leadership of P&C functions to
support new ventures. Responsible for the management of integrating
the new ventures relationships to include products, services or
capabilities with USAA. What you'll do: End-to-end ownership of
P&C new ventures development, incubation, and build. Executes
the strategy and accountable for the product development of the new
ventures. Develops and enables the roadmap of new venture products.
Operationalizes and executes the expansion of new venture products,
services, capabilities, member growth and state rollouts. Executes
the integration of future P&C new ventures mergers and
acquisitions Directly leads P&C new ventures development
product teams typically managing through subordinate executive
people leaders. Leads matrix teams internally and external
partnerships. Acquires, develops, and manages talent capabilities
of relationship management team, with demonstrated ability to
coach, motivate and drive results. Partners with internal business
teams and functional areas of the strategic accounts to deliver
high quality sales and service experience. Oversees regular
meetings with the new ventures leadership team to review business
plans and sales performance. - - Partner with account to identify
areas of P&C opportunity. Accountable for new ventures team
partnering with internal control groups to manage sales and
operational controls and oversight to ensure adherence to
appropriate risk and compliance controls, focused on scaling
incubated ventures. Provides expert agile methodology acumen and
expert data analysis abilities to support the Development Process
Owner (DPO) build of USAA work product for new ventures.
Accountability for Auto and new ventures DPOs across the community
of practice to support our P&C strategic milestones. Builds and
oversees a team of employees for assigned functional area through
ongoing execution of recruiting, development, retention, coaching
and support, performance management, and managerial activities.
Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively
identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with
risk and compliance policies and procedures. What you have:
Bachelor's degree; OR 4 years of related experience (in addition to
the minimum years of experience required) may be substituted in
lieu of degree. 10 years of experience in product sales and/or
relationship management. 6 years of people leadership experience in
building, managing, and/or developing high-performing teams.
Experience with brokered product methodology. Exceptional
relationship management skills and demonstrated ability to
influence decisions at all leadership levels. Expert level
communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to
effectively navigate and mediate conflict and foster honest dialog.
Comprehensive knowledge agile methodology to include project
management and prioritization skills and demonstrated application
of knowledge, skills and abilities towards work products required.
Expert level of business acumen in the areas of the business
operations, industry practices and emerging trends with P&C
products, capabilities, and services required. What sets you apart

management experience 3 years of corporate development / M&A
Experience Compensation: USAA has an effective process for
assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain
competitive. You are paid within the salary range based on your
experience and market position. The salary range for this position
is: $180,500.00-325,000.00. Employees may be eligible for pay
incentives based on overall corporate and individual performance or
at the discretion of the USAA Board of Directors. Long Term
Incentive Plan: Cash payment for Executive level roles only,
representing a cash payment which is both time and performance
