Engineer II, you will play a key role in the design, development,
and testing of electrical/electronic systems for aerospace and
defense applications. You will be responsible for designing and
integrating electrical/electronic systems, validating
electrical/electronic systems, and collaborating with
cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products. The ISR
(Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance), Aviation, and
Security (IAS) business area is a leader in ISR and aviation, it is
a leading prime manned and unmanned aircraft systems integrator for
innovative, high-performance ISR and aviation systems. Its
end-to-end Command, Control, Computers, Communications and
Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance (C4ISR) capabilities
encompass design, integration, test, certification, ground/flight
training and complete logistics support. IAS tailors solutions to
customer cost, performance, and schedule requirements and designs

on time and on (or under) budget deliveries. Responsibilities:
Design and develop electrical/electronic systems. Support
production for modifications on C-130 aircraft by answering
technical questions. Implement electrical wiring design practices.
Conduct testing and validation of electronic systems and
components. Perform troubleshooting and debugging of electronic
circuits. Coordinate with other design engineers to update drawings
in Autocad and Zuken (E3) for technical and production improvement.
Review and interpret engineering drawings, schematics and wire
diagrams Develop and document technical designs, test plans, and
results. Prepare technical documentation for non-conformance
dispositions, knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product
requirements are met. Participate in design reviews and provide
technical insights. Investigate and document electrical issues
identified during the aircraft modification, recommending
corrective actions Coordinate with other stakeholders on technical
questions and harness builds. Ensure all work adhere to safety,
regulatory and quality standards relevant to aircraft electrical
systems Qualifications You Must Have: Bachelor’s degree in
Electrical Engineering or related field. 2 years of experience in
electrical engineering or a related role. Higher level relevant
degree may substitute for experience. Proficiency in
electrical/electronic harness design and testing techniques.
Knowledge of industry-standard electrical design principles, to
include, but not limited to model-based definition, electrical
component selection, manufacturing, and production processes.
Experience with Computer Aided Engineering tools. Familiarity with
working in multi-disciplinary design and development teams.
Qualifications We Prefer: Experience with Computer-Aided Design
(CAD) software for electrical applications –
CATIA/Zuken/Solidworks. Understanding of aerospace and defense
industry standards. Exposure to FAA electrical system regulations,
including Electrical Wiring Interconnection System (EWIS)
requirements. Exposure to electrical/electronic Failure Modes and
Effects Analysis (FMEA) and System Safety Assessment (SSA)
concepts. Understanding of an Electrical Load Analysis (ELA).
Knowledge of electrical component selection and manufacturing.
Understanding Electromagnetic Effects (EME) to include
Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) and Electromagnetic
Interference (EMI). Experience in digital or analog circuit design
and schematic capture. Essential Functions: Serve as the primary
point of contact between engineering and hangar operations for
electrical system matters. Provide timely technical support and
guidance to technicians during the modification, integration and
repair activities. Review and approve minor engineering changes or
deviations in accordance with company procedures and aviation
standards. Ability to travel as required. Ability to work in an
office/hangar or hybrid environment. Precision in designing,
testing and troubleshooting electrical/electronic systems and
components. Ability to analyze complex electrical/electronic
systems and evaluate performance data to identify problems and
improve designs. Applying systematic and logical problem-solving
techniques to diagnose and resolve electrical/electronic issues.
Clearly convey technical information, design specifications, and
project updates to team members, stakeholders, and management.
Ability to understand technical documents, electrical/electronic
schematics, and electronic instrument measurements. Ability to
handle small components, tools, and equipment with precision. This

may be extended based on business needs. Estimated Starting Salary
Range: $74,581.13 - $102,549.04. Compensation varies depending on a
wide array of factors, such as candidates' key skills, relevant
work experience, and education/training/certifications. The
disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable
geographic differential associated with the location at which the
