Job Description:
Safety Supervisor Description: In this position you will be responsible for employee health and safety in a 300 employee division of a larger plant. This is a heavy industrial manufacturing facility. It is a very successful plant with strong commitment to safety. - Work with line management to ensure that all employees follow approved safety and health practices. - Facilitate / conduct weekly safety meetings. - Participate in the development of safety and health programs and policies. - Conduct safety audits and implement corrective actions as needed. - Investigate all incidents and implement corrective actions. Qualifications: BS in Safety or a related field and 3-5 years of industrial experience. Experience in a heavy industrial manufacturing plant is key. Compensation: The listed compensation includes both base and incentive pay.
